Well, some interesting things lately. In Albuqurque there was a sign that read 'May Day- Vietnamese restaruant' with a giant lumberjack on top. That was weird.

Went to see X3 with Leslie and Sarah a couple weeks back. There we saw an AMAZING preview for the new summer movie.

Anchor of the Year had some interesting results- Chelsea and Kacie ran together, and only got around $1.50 and one peso. It's sort of funny, since Noelle got $1.00 and didn't even run. Go figure...

Omg I haven't updated for a month. Oh well...

Some interesting things happening lately. Some people in broadcast made an animeclub promo, one that was really weird and really funny. The anime peeps are probably going to want to kill our department now... but the promo was just sooo funny! @_@

Anchor of the Year is starting, and I've opted out of Noelle's campaign to help Amanda. Because she's the sweetest nicest person anyone could ever meet, no one will be able to make fun of her as is the custom. Making fun of Amanda would be like... kicking a dog or something.

It's going to be interesting to see the promos for the other anchors, though. The unspoken requirements for AOTY promos include making fun of the others and pointing out their EVERY flaw, while at the same time glorifying yourself as much as possible. I can't wait... XD

Omg, I'm having like... A Miyazaki week or something. Rented Princess Mononoke, Castle in the Sky, and Howl's Moving Castle. A few things I noticed:

-In Princess Mononoke, the dude's billy goat thing is fricken awesome

-Howl's Moving Castle is THE BEST MOVIE EVER SO YOU ALL SHOULD BOW TO ITS GOODNESS

-Howl's fricken hot

I had my brother watch Howl's Moving Castle, which led him to voluntarily pay half for the DVD. Just like I planned. Muwahahahaa. But if you're ever out by Blockbuster, Best Buy, or Fry's, Get the darn movie. Cause... it's that good. Oh, and Howl's mine. XD

Somethings that happened at school... Thomas nearly blew everyone's ears out during a broadcast when he set the volume WAYYY too high. (Two people literally jumped out of their seats.) And Ms. Shaw decided that we weren't working hard enough in Broadcast, so she cut off internet in the classroom. Which wasn't too bright of an idea, since the script for the newscast relies on the internet for it's information. (Noelle, Jackoby, and Hailey had to use the library computers to get things done.)

Another thing- I'm deafly afraid of camera 3. It's so loose, it seems like it's going to fall over and break any second if I don't hold it hard enough... but oh well. We're switching jobs next tuesday. XD

Well... Haven't updated in forever, since I was planning to move my blog onto a new host... but things didn't work out, and the host is... dead. So I'm in the market.

Things were pretty funny in broadcasting- we were shooting footage for a promo, and Uber had to beat up Kyle. We did three takes, (The first had a bad camera angle, and the second it looked like they were making out) and Uber slammed Kyle up against the wall pretty hard. The third time, he head flew back with a very loud 'BANG' followed by a very loud 'OUCH!'. Poor Kyle... we felt sorry for him, and asked if he was okay. Then we laughed at him some more.

Oh, but it wasn't over. A bunch of us went back to the editing lab, and Plink made a minute long clip of the footage. Over and over- and in different speeds. There must've been something wrong with all of us, because the clip got funnier and funnier each time. We laughted like crazy people for a good 20 minutes. The stuff we do when our teacher is gone for a day...

Shame on me- I've joined the Ipod bandwagon. And I'm proud, too. Apple sure beats Microsoft when it comes to reliablity and quality- everything works! It's still an amazing concept- Something expensive is easy to use, and does what it's supposed to? A piece of computer that doesn't really... mess up? Granted, it's not perfect... but still...

Could this be real? Is it a dream? Oh well. I'm not complaining. *goes off to watch Spaceballs on Ipod*
